I kept myself busy to cut down my cravings. i am a teacher and started working extra on me own in my free time to keep my mind away from craving carbs. everyday it is gets better and you will get more used to it.
keep 3 things in mind.
1) you only have 10 days left for induction
2) look at the things you can eat and what you cant eat.
3)keep yourself motivated by communicating with people on other atkins forums.
4)dont watch the food network!
It will get easier by the day. you just need to wait it out so do the above . it helped me and oters also

Depends on the individual, but generally by the end of the first week you should be starting to feel better.

Good luck! Atkins rocks.

No carb is tough. I found that if I eat some low GI carbs like celery and green beans it takes the edge off. Then about every 5th or 6th day have a cheat meal. That seems to keep me focused and keeps my metabolism up. A slowed metabolism is your worst enemy when dieting. Caffeine helps.

ps: Pepperoni and cheese pizza hot from Pizza Hut Smothered in Ranch Dressing and Parmesan Cheese. Gooey and greasy Mmmm

I know you said you didnt want negative views, but, dieting that way wont help you lose wait in the long term.
Anyway, I've heard you should let yourself have what you want, and then you'll feel bad after it, and be less likely to want to do it again. I dont see how that works but.. Try allowing youself some sugary snacks every once in a while.
